Britt Bongaerts

Britt Bongaerts played for Volleyball Club Peelpush Meijel and the Papendal Arnhem Talent Team. In 2014, she moved to TV Twente Eurosped Almelo.

At the end of that year, as a setter who had gone through all stages of representative national teams, she was honored with the award named after Ingrid Visser (volleyball player) for the best young talent.

With the national A-team, Bongaerts participated in the Volleyball World Grand Prix in 2015. Subsequently, she was recruited by the German Bundesliga club Ladies in Black Aachen in Aachen. Due to financial problems at this club, she switched to USC Münster in 2016. With this team, she reached the Bundesliga playoffs and the quarterfinals of the Cup competition. She then returned to Aachen and reached the semifinals of the playoffs with the Ladies. She subsequently transferred to the German champion SSC Palmberg Schwerin.

Since October 2018, she has been a member of the Dutch women’s volleyball team, which reached the semifinals of the World Championship in Japan.
